Notice: Caller ID Feature Temporarily Disabled

At this time, the Caller ID feature is temporarily disabled. If you wish to request access to this feature, please contact our Support team at support@thoughtly.com. We evaluate Caller ID requests on a case-by-case basis and reserve the right to approve or deny access at our sole discretion. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to ensure the best experience for all users. If you have any questions or require further assistance, our Support team is ready to help.

Introduction

Caller ID allows you to mask your outbound calls with a custom phone number. By setting a custom Caller ID, you can control the number that appears on the recipient’s phone when you make a call. If you would like to use your existing phone number as a custom Caller ID without porting it to Thoughtly, please note that this functionality is currently not available by default due to the temporary pause of the Caller ID feature. However, you may request access by contacting Support as described above.

Getting Started

Important: The process for adding a custom Caller ID is currently unavailable by default. If your request for access is approved, our Support team will provide specific instructions for verifying and configuring your Caller ID.
If enabled for your account, you will be able to:
  1. Go to the Caller ID section of the Thoughtly dashboard.
  2. Click “Add Caller ID” to add a new number.
  3. Enter the phone number you’d like to use. Add Caller ID
  4. You would then receive a verification call from Thoughtly. Answer the call and enter the verification code provided to complete the process. Verification Call
Once your Caller ID has been verified, you can use it for outbound calls (subject to approval).

Connecting Your Voice Agent

After approval and verification, you may connect your custom Caller ID with your Voice Agent by configuring the appropriate settings on the Caller ID page in your dashboard.
